A new travel club, WildPath Adventurers, has officially launched in Ghana with a mission to promote responsible tourism, environmental conservation, and cultural exchange. The club, which begins with 20 founding members, is open to all Ghanaians passionate about travel and global exploration.
Speaking at the launch, Acting President Esther Akonnor shared the vision behind the club.
“Our mission is to foster a community of travel enthusiasts committed to exploring the world responsibly, promoting sustainable tourism, safe migration awareness, and environmental conservation,” she said.
“We’re excited to welcome like-minded adventurers who want to make their travels more meaningful, impactful, and memorable.”
WildPath Adventurers will organize both local and international trips, encourage group travel to reduce costs, and create opportunities for members to participate in global events that align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The club’s one-year calendar is already packed with exciting destinations. The maiden trip will be a visit to Safari Valley Resort. Other scheduled trips include explorations across various parts of Ghana, Ivory Coast, Southern Africa, Europe, and the United States.
The club positions itself as a platform for Ghanaians to gain travel experience, connect with global communities, and embrace ethical travel practices.
